Mebby so, but surely he knows that if nukes go off on his watch he suddenly becomes the American Nero.
...not saying it is true....but I remember reading the story in quite a few different locations after it happened. I just thought it was interesting, that's all.
They've been saying this for years. You can bet that if al Qaeda had a nuke in the US, you'd know it.
Sadly that would not happen. We would be singing "We Shall Overcome" and ask why they don't like us.
Maybe they don't have a nuke, but a disaster of 9/11 porportions is certainly going to happen again sometime in the future, probably again as a result of illegal immigration. Remember, the 19 9/11 hijackers had 63 drivers licenses between them and we all on overdue visas.
If we are hit again and it is found that the perps were here illegally on some overdue visa or crossed the Mexican border, I will be the first to call for GWB's impeachment for deriliction of duty.
So all these nukes are in America and haven't been used? I'm not buying this story.
If they do it we should hit at least 1000 of their targets including every inch of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Iran as well as every Muslim inch of Indonesia.
Similar thing happened in Boston. There was a report of some device found in Peabody - a town just north of Logan Airport. It was on the radio and on Boston.com. There seems to be no trace of that report.
Everyone always forgets about the Boomers. These things carry from 12 to 24 ICBM's loaded with 4 to 10 warheads each. Just one of these silent little boats can melt that entire region in 30 minutes. You wouldn't think we would have one of them in that area of the world would you?
Do I think that this is a serious possibility? No, but I agree that we need to be prepared for any eventuality from people who have no regard for human life and a deep, abiding hatred of us and freedom.
My guess is #1, hispanic votes and #2, Mexican oil. Whoever captures the bulk of the hispanic vote will remain in office. Bush is greasing the skids for his successors. We get one hell of a lot of our oil from Mexico. My guess is Fox has reminded Bush of that on many occasions....

Today Osama bin Laden and its Al-Qaeda organization is enemy of Bush and Blair.
Who were the friends of Osama and Al-Qaeda, when the war against Russia in Afganistan was going on? Who trained Al-Qaeda forces and provided arms and ammunitions, explosives and accessories? What is the crime of Afghan civilians when American forces fail to kill or capture Osama bin Laden and Mullah Omar and so on?
Who imposed illegal war on Iraq? Who carried out massive destruction in Iraq? Who killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians including women and children?
Who are the perpetrators of abuses, tortures and killings in Abu Ghraib and Guantamo Bay? Who committed crimes against humanity? Who violated human rights and the Geneva Convention?
Where is the chemical and biological weapons and weapons of mass destructions of Saddam Hussein? Who are the liars?
Considering the above questions, imagine, if some terrorists acquire small toys having nuclear power and use it in retaliation of crimes committed by Mr. Bush and Blair against the innocent Palestinians, the innocent people of Afghanistan and the innocent Iraqi civilians, who could be blamed for that?
Why should the peace loving people in the world should suffer for crimes of Bush, Blair and Bin Laden?
Terrorist acts are crimes, whether it is perpetrated by Bush, Blair or Bin Laden. Peace loving wants to get rid of them.

There was a great book written about 20 years ago. Khadafi places a hydrogen bomb in New York City and demands the withdrawl of all Israeli forces from Gaza and the West Bank.
The book was inspired by an event in 1974 when President Ford briefly considered evacuating Boston because of the the threat of terrorist nuke.
If the day comes when a nuke has been hidden somewhere in the U.S. the terrorists will have demands - pull all armed forces from the Middle East in 72 hours or a city will be destroyed. They would also have to prove the device is viable somehow before we would even consider their demand. They are not just going to blow up a city or two without warning. It would bring down the thunder upon them and they would not get what they want.
Puh-leeze. The reason we haven't started a war in Iran and Syria (both at once?) is obvious (it would cost too much and require too many people). No tinfoil-hattery required.
If he keeps this up, he's going to go blind and grow hair on his palms.
Or maybe a couple of Russian Mafia guys spent a bit of their loot on vodka while laughing their asses off at the suckers who bought the "suitcase nukes" they cobbled together out of gumball machine parts.
