Before my father died, the neighborhood he had lived in for 40+ years became dangerous. The crew next door were selling drugs. Their stupid and doped-up clientele knocked on dad's door by mistake once too often.

My dad, a WWII veteran and a man who NEVER owned a gun of his own, went out and got one...mom never knew.

After he died, my mom found it in the closet..loaded. Those crooks were lucky he never felt the need to use it recuse I know that he was about fed up with them by then.

I haven't heard of such.... I get the NRA, GOA, JPFO and TSRA newsletters and alerts and have heard nuthin of such a ban......kepp me posted as to where ya hear such. Might have been for just an individual state of confusion and social grace........:o)
