The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Who likes to read the works of Al-Suri?

Here's an indication. The following forums feature a reposting of a poetic message from Abu Musab Al Suri. The definitive version of this message is located elsewhere. Yup. Interestingly, I heard this last night on Fox- around11PM. None of this was on the earlier, dinner hour, news. Guess they didn't want to impede people's plans to shop Walmart after dinner....

They (China) said they would nuke our cities not only if we attacked their territory, but if we took out any of their ships, subs, or other assets.

Yet we still shop Walmart....

"Government computer systems struck by intruders"

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "CTV News has learned Canada's ultra-secret spy agency recently detected what the Communications Security Establishment says were "a series of sophisticated intrusions into the federal government's computer systems."

The agency, Canada's national cryptologic agency, says the attacks were minimal, and refuses to divulge exactly what the hackers were after or reveal their identities.

But Julie Spallin, federal director of the Canadian Cyber Response Centre, admits: "There is a threat to Canada in the cyber realm."

Spallin says the hackers targeted specific, sensitive information.

"Economic information is typically the most sought after" in these types of intrusions, she reveals.

Foreign intelligence agencies and organized crime have been known to attempt to steal information over the Internet from the Prime Minister's Office, the departments of Foreign Affairs and National Defence and Canada's central bank."

Curious timing in light of this new "unofficial warning" from China


Agreed. We need to put the pieces of the puzzle together. Chinese scientists provided/upgraded the titrium (sp?) triggers for the nukes OBL had upgraded with Russian and Paki tech support.
IMO China has advance notice of what may soon go down in the US regarding AQ. China wants no part of the retaliation which could follow. This same scenario happened with Putin when it appeared AQ might attack- suddenly all former russian nuclear material was heavily guarded and there were never any breaches of security.

This chinese statement comes at an interesting time....

There are at least two possible conclusions that can be drawn from all the arrests:
1. Our folks are doing a great job. I fervently hope this is the case.
2. Immediately prior to the big event, the networks are rolled up. Sources are lost and/or compromised, leads come to dead ends(so to speak), and there is the problem of 'bad' busts, illegal search and seizure and such messy legal complications.

"I'm really pretty shocked about this whole thing," she said in a brief interview.

A three-term council member and former mayor who was the highest vote-getter in February's council primary, Murphy was arrested at her home Wednesday night by a task force of federal and local officers. Her arrest came hours after her longtime companion and his roommate were arrested at their Glendale home, officials said."

Did anyone see the guy on John Gibson's show who said that the London bombings were a real bomb dry run for an actual subway bomb carrying biological weapons? He said THEY HAVE THEM and they will use them when they get the go signal.

We'll, that's scary. Just been making brief trips to "hide out" in the computer room. So far behind. Have a house full of relatives (a suprise, WHOOPEE!) All I've done in the past few days is cook, clean up, and wash towels.
