Give me a break. For this to be true the 10 million illegals would have to contribute on average $80,000 each to the economy. But per capita, US GDP is less than $40,000. So you're claiming that illegals are twice as productive as the average US citizen?
Phony numbers do not help your case. Nor does ignoring the huge burden illegal immigration puts on the Federal government, states, cities and towns, in terms of increased education and health expenses, services, etc..
Illegal immigration is corporate welfare at its worst; it allows businesses to transfer the real costs of employment to the taxpayer.
Why don't you ask Travis, it's his picture. I slipped and hit the "post" button before I remembered to ping him on the last post.
Not my numbers, the Newsweek article numbers. A higher percentage of illegals are single males than the general population and thus will have a higher average contribution to the GDP.
Because I'm asking you, smart person. You're the one who made the comment about "employees who look illegal," so it's not up to someone else to explain what you meant by that.
So....what is it, exactly, that makes people "look illegal" - besides the color of their skin, that is? You're a big boy now, answer that on your own.
There is a helluva lot more than 10 million illegals in the country. Try the math with 50 million and see if the numbers look realistic, especially when you figure the youngsters may not be working.
Assumption of a sudden economic boom boosting the economy if suddenly the millions of ILLEGALS (not undocumented) were legitimized is just plain wishful bullsh!t thinking.
These people aren't 'alluvasudden gonna start payin incum taxes' or claimin' incum. They will most likely head for the nearest Social Security Office, Health Department, or other government giveaway station and claim their prize...sorta like hearin' PEDRO...COME ON DOWWWWWWNNNNNNNN!!!! Ala Bob Barker.
I'm sure they'll appreciate your pointing out the problem of profiling. I certainly appreciate your raising the issue.
In other words, you'll avoid explaining your own racist comment by posting pictures and claiming your own words are someone else's responsibility. Nice dodge (but not really).
Oh, and I apologize for the "smart person" comment. Huh JMO.
'Rod says illegal flatus smells like gardenias, too. One day he'll come clean & let us all know who's paying him to post these silly counterintuitive pro illegal articles. I have my own guess.
Still can't reply with anything other than personal insults? Your posts reflect on all the other members on ping lists with you.
Skeeter sounds like he knows you pretty well.
Apparently about as much as he knows about anything.
Apparently about as much as he knows about anything.
So you're claiming illegal single males are producing $80K worth of goods, on average? Working on close-to minimum wage jobs?
Highest respectable estimate I've seen is 13m.
Actually, you're a bit off on this, as usual.
Let me straighten it out for you.
Here is what we would say to you: "Spoken by a true socialist RINO. There is nothing conservative or patriotic about the Antis Big Tent RINOs/Liberals/Moderates. They are just big government, anti-business socialists American sovereignty, anti-secure and protected borders, and anti-preservation of American culture, customs, traditions and language. The pro-illegal alien crowd always puts cheap labor first and America last.
Recognize who I'm talking about?
Everyone's a RINO except Buchanan and the other third party wackos, right?
It is not anti-business to expect our immigration laws to be enforced. As to exploiting the working class, just who is being exploited when a business hires an illegal at less than the legal minimum wage? It certainly isn't those who would prefer to see our laws enforced. The real exploiter is the greedy business owner who maximizes his/her profits at the expense of others (the illegal immigrant, the legal worker who cannot work for the ridiculously low pay and the taxpayers who must pay for the services the illegal cannot afford).
And no, not all business owners are greedy capitalists, but some are. To point this out is not anti-business, it's just stating a fact.
Don't blame us if you failed the test.
But don't despair -- you can take the test again in six months...
