"Actually....I've never quite grown up. :)"

Neither have I. It is great to be a kid.

As for the good old days. Yes for many of us it was. We got a bit to spoiled. But surely most of us older folks who grew up espeically after WWII and had food on the table where blessed.
Live was so much easier back then. Even with the Korean war, it was so remote, and the cold war. Kids forgot about running to their school bomb shelters and just went out and played after school. Many of us had it made in a shade.

" Oh man ... I remember the black & white monitors Ok .. now I feel Old .. LOL!!"

When I was quite small, my dad worked at Philco in Philly. He was in the TV division. We had a tv set with a black and white 8" screen, if you can imagine. Not much to watch on the boob tube back then. Now I seldom can stomach watching anything.

That's why I'm watching Andy Griffith. Gunsmoke and Bonanza are on on the weekends. My youngest really likes Marshall Dillon.
