Republicans blast Senator Clinton on Bush attack
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) Republicans are blasting Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton for her remarks that compared President Bush to Mad magazine's fictional freckle-faced icon, Alfred E. Neuman.
The Republican National Committee and New York's G-O-P leaders are taking aim at the former first lady for the comments made yesterday during an appearance in Colorado. The New York Democrat accused the president of damaging the economy by overspending while giving tax cuts to the rich.
Clinton also said she sometimes feels that Alfred E. Neuman is in charge in Washington. She drew a laugh from the crowd when she described Bush's attitude toward tough issues with Newman's catchphrase: ``What, me worry?''

You are all very welcome! This gentleman fights very hard here. We are hoping he will run for Congress!!
**The press crucified Bush for saying that, and many feel that it hurt him significantly.**
Excellent point!
You are right - some statisticians goofed up on the Korean conflict death count - the number was revised downward to 36,000 deaths. Still a lot for three years, but not as bad as originally state ...
These are outstanding:
**The Democrats are complaining about how long the war is taking.
But
It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound. That was a 51-day operation.
We've been looking for evidence for chemical weapons in Iraq for less time
than it took Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records.
It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard than it took Ted Kennedy to call the police after his Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick
It took less time to take Iraq than it took to count the votes in
Florida!!!!**
LOL!
His son-in-law is Joel Hyatt, who is a major Democrat fundraiser and always seems to be involved in liberal business/propaganda schemes with other little rich kids such as Al Gore.
Well, it's nice to hear Republicans are attacking the Queen for once in defense of the President, but the article only includes two brief comments? For an article about the GOP's response it includes practically nothing about their response.
Oh, and Hillary? We were in a recession, hit by terror attacks, fighting a war, and yet unemployment is down to 5%, deficit going down, more people across the board have money from their tax cuts. You and your husband only wish you had this President's record.
You should email your post to every newspaper's "Letters to the Editor" page!
"skanky 14 year olds in the hall", I was with you up until this point. I'm trying to see how she's different, ......oops my bad. No difference.
Alas I feel a good deal of the Dems are in fact socialists/communists.
Dubya ought to tell the DOJ to put Bill and Hill in JAIL.
The very thought of it sends chills up and down my spine. rgghhhhh.
That would be fun, but how many papers do you suppose would print it?
Margaret Thatcher was a stateswoman and a lady. Hillary can't even shine Margaret's shoes.
In case people didn't know who he was....
I copied this for future use. What a great post. Thank you, gidget7.
I too, thought it was great! Which I assume is why Mr. Adam shared it, and why I felt it important to share here, as well.
It's a classic. Good work!
Good news to me. Why? Because the Democrats as a whole have been attacking Bush personally but Hillary hasn't been doing that, only on his policy etc. Now she is joining the rest of the idiots and hitting him personally too. George Bush is not running for anything in the coming election, so by them going after him, it is all wasted energy and only makes them look stupid and petty. IMHO
