I understand your motive, I really do. However, what happens to the person who is mugged, and cannot call for help, or whose family member is stricken with a heart attack, and cannot reach the person on the subway, or any number of other scenarios?

Kinda a dumb do-nothing idea. This just means that you can't "dial in" to activate your cell phone thus using it as a remote triggering device.

But..... you still can use the "timer" option on your cell phone to set off the triggering device for a bomb.

If ya got a cell phone, it can be used to detonate an initiator.

Just learned this of all places.... on TV.
