Evening church is pleasant, especially in the summer.
Your point was well taken........and I always preferred evening Mass in the summer when I was growing up.
But I've got an even better excuse for not being in Church - I broke my ankle Friday and can barely get around on crutches - let alone drive :)
No, of course we're not all Christian. The Odin folks will be at church on Wednesday, in fact :-).
The Sunday evening service is the least crowded at our parish, so all nine of us can get seats with no problem. Also it's usually shorter, because there's no choir. In general, I've got nothing against a longer service, but when you've got whoopy toddlers, fast is good!
