This is REALLY early in the season for a storm like this... doesn't feel natural. Good luck to everybody in the path.

There are a lot of F-15's sitting here at Tinker AFB, OK, that flew in yesterday from Gulf Air Force bases.

Pray this real-life "Dennis the Menace" does not turn west toward N.O.

"We want you to be somewhat comfortable, but not totally relaxed," New Orleans Mayor Ray Angina said Saturday."

Ray ANGINA ? Freudian slip ?

I refreshed twice but it disappeared.

I feel for the people along the coast. We lived through Super Typhoon Paka which was a category 5. It can and will be devastating

The pics are part of the Freepathon. They change with each refresh.

You lived through a category 5? Wow. They say the energy goes up as the square of the wind speed so a 5 is a huge increase.

Weather.com/channel were the same people, not 8 hours ago, touting how this storm was over cooler waters because of Cindy and would be lucky if it came ashore as a weak Cat 3.

That rain and wind are going to travel right up the Mississippi and hit me in Vicksburg unless it changes course.

Of course, I am having the exterior painted as I type...lol. Good timing, yes?

Anyone have any idea how far inland the devastation will be? I have relatives who live in Pensacola, north of the airport.

Weather.com/channel were the same people

When you need accurate weather information, do not use the Weather Channel or their web site. They are incompetent.

There are many other excellent weather sites.
