Hi ~ I wanted to let you know that my dear sister, Tammy, passed away unexpectedly on June 30th. She had gastric bypass surgery on June 27, came home from the hospital on June 29th and passed away in the early morning hours of June 30th.
I'm not exactly sure of Tammy's username (something like "texaswarriorprincess") Tammy often talked about her involvement in this site and our family felt we should notify you of her death.
We lost our Dad in October, 2004. I know Tammy shared the news w/ you of my Dad voting prior to his death. He voted from the back of an ambulance while in hospice care.
We are shocked and deeply saddened by her sudden death. She is survived by our Mom, 2 sisters, one brother, and her two daughters.
Please pray for our family.
This is one of the reasons as I said in my pervious post, I am leery of this procedure. lately, the patients I have been seeing come in for the surgery, barely look overweight to me. I have no idea how our surgeons are justifying the case.
Yes, there is a very beautiful spiritual side to this forum, and it is a blessing.
Thank you
Donna
Donna,
At first your post would not come up on the page....just on ping list. Tried several times....then finally it appeared...then it disappeared again.
There for awhile was thinking it was "spirit-filled".
Blessing of the evening...
Molly
Sad, sad news.
My prayers for you and your family being said this very moment.
They say the eyes are the window to the soul.
Count yourself lucky, silent_jonni, for having known her.
I have tears rolling down my face just reading these posts.
Again, my condolences and prayers to the whole family and especially to the children.
This is a tragic loss.
Prayer heavenward and virtual hugs coming your way. <>
I do, believe me. God blessed me with her friendship. God blessed us all with Tammy.
We disagreed a lot on foreign affairs, but God rest her soul and watch over her family.
I likewise disagreed at times with her, but relish the good debates we had. God be with her family.
May God comfort you and your family at this difficult time.
OMG!! I spoke to her via phone one night shortly after your dad's death. I am so sorry to hear this sad news! I know she leaves two daughters so many prayers for their recovery from this horrendous loss.
Thank you for telling us all. What a sad bit of news... Sooo sad!
I am so very sorry to hear this. May God be with you in your time of sorrow and provide you with peace.
I'm sorry for your loss. Prayers sent from Cowboyland.
Thank you, texasflower. Rest in peace.
I'm so sorry for your loss
Prayers for comfort.
You gotta see this!!
My mother's real mother died when she was 4 and I think we all feel that loss many years later. My mother did have a stepmother- she loved us and we loved her. I actually thought she was my real grandmother till I was 11 or 12 years old. Still, I miss what could have been if my biological maternal grandmother had lived longer.
Oh that is so sad. But what a great person. Both her and her dad.
