I don't doubt for one second that Tancredo wants to be a useful idiot for the Old Media. But he's only a Congressman and has no name recognition outside the Antis crowd.
He'll keep trying to get publicity by attacking other Republicans.

Desperately hope? Naw. I confidently predict he'll have as much of a chance as Donald Duck.
To: Torie
Excellent. On vacation and thought I'd drop in. Good to see pat and bay have found a new way to shake folks down for their money.
To: CWOJackson
It's amazing how many times pat and bay have gone to the same old well and sucked just a little more out of it. Obviously they've gone over their mailing lists and figure there's some easy money left
They are masters of getting blood out of turnip.

I'd just like to know what they do with their money?
Maybe they're building a retirement villa in Central Mexico.

I'd just like to know what they do with their money? Well pat did commission a bust of himself that is sitting proudly in his hallway.

Tancredo's statement about DeLay was not a foible. It was a prepared written statement. It was ridiculous, naive, and smacked of naked political ambition.
It's easy for Tancredo to sit is his safe seat and be the leader in a populist position, but he's just not ready for prime time and the Democrats will eat him alive.

LOL! I remember reading that interview.
The poor reporter shows up at the front door and is shocked by the bust of Ceasar or Nero prominently displayed in the entry so no one could miss it.
Then he noticed it was buchanan...and knew he was in for a treat.

Had you posted 20 minutes later, I would have been the one to proverbially pop your proverbial balloon.

The early bird gets the worm. Actually, I think Delay should step down too. To be more precise, I think he should not run for re-election. He is no longer a useful instrument, and needs to be thrown into the dust pin. If he chooses not to commit honorable sepuku per my advice, there is about a 33% chance he will lose his race for re-election.

What we need is a pic of the Pat bust, to grace this thread with a bit of "color" as it were.

Where does he stand on other issues? He is pro-Taiwan/Japan and anti-China. That alone will make me vote for him should he run for Prez.

To: Torie
I know you do. But as the charges are entirely manufactured and Pelosi herself has recently changed previous filings on her own trips from years back, I absolutely do not want DeLay to step down. If the, pardon me, bastards win one, they'll just be emboldened. You have to treat them like terrorists.

Excellent thank you. I hope all is well with you also.
I see not much has changed around here. There's the obligatory cop-hater thread going full steam, the obligatory dope crusade thread, the obligatory buchanan sock puppet thread, the obligatory "if Bush doesn't whatever I'm voting LP/CP/DT's" thread and Churchillstuff is still shilling for Michael Moore.
