Probably because the US now imports 60% of our oil with SA being one of our largest suppliers. SA also supplies 20% of the worlds oil which means they receive 20% of all the money spent for oil. There are many rich Saudis and a few support terrorists just as there are misguided people who support them in the US. China is trying to form a relationship with SA now and they have stayed the course with us. If SA really wanted to hurt us all they have to do is cut our oil allotment 2-3 million barrels a day and we would be sitting in gas lines in a couple of weeks. They could just cut back and save most of it for themselves.

Maybe we'll get to the point of just nuking enough of the saudies and just take the oil and distribute and sell it to the rest of the world.

Are we aware of the history of Aramco, the American/English consortium that started the discovery and extraction of oil from the Saudi's. We found it, we got it out of the ground. The Saudi's couldn't do diddley.
