Good! SIT STILL!!!
???whut?
well if it is in good condition, it can stay, especially on the sides that are not exposed to the winds...
any side could blow up though....it just depends on the strength of the hurricane...
as Hurricanes generally have quite a few tornadoes that are much stronger wind wise than the Hurricane itself, the normal rules apply....
Last I heard was 5-7ft, but that was before the storm bombed again.
I don't know if it is headed for New Orleans. Probably not, according to the official forecasts. But I was around for Camille, so I don't have a whole lot of faith in the ability of forecasters to predict with certainty where the storm will hit this far in advance.
AAM is talking aboutthe rain in Atlanta at the moment. There is a sub-discussion about the baseball game being played in a downpour.
LOL
I am for now....
Sorry, was only kidding about the couches. We've a solid house here. Unless a tornado hits, we will be ok. And no you can't do a basement here. Water table is too high. Some folks after Ivan did have safe rooms built in their garages.
Still sports talk....topic "Who is the jerk of the week". Pathetic!
You are close to home. I grew up in Brandon and live in Meridian. We had quite a bit of damage in Meridian from Ivan.
Vinyl confetti.
eye is beginning to shrink....which means its still getting stornger..another wobble more NW now(was moving alomost NW)
They're using it for a tent revival in Jonesboro.
The mayor must have the voodoo priests and priestesses working overtime throwing the bones.
The bones must say everything will be alright in NO.
5.56mm
NO is not out of the woods totally, but 90% that landfall will be somewhere between Gulfport and Pensacola.
ok...talking about a f*in ball game on a hurricane thread. I musta missed that when I took a shower.
thanks - I think....
