Good morning room.. i got 2 hours of sleep .. so what is happening with this dennis.. i haven't heard from my kids in gulfport ms.. tried calling a few times..
Wow, I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope it's not as devastating as feared. Now, isn't Camille the storm that wreaked havoc on the coast, then put Richmond, VA under water for weeks? I think Camille is the one my mom talks about.
Sorry for the delay getting back to you, power has been out since 4am.
Yes, we are about 7 miles inland from Anna Maria island.
Just curious. We vacationed there and loved it.
Here's a rude request* for information/details about Navarre and Gulf Breeze. I haven't time to read the thread, although I'm dying for enough time to go back and do so.
My dear friend is the house supervisor tonight (and last night) at Gulf Breeze Hospital; and she has 2 homes in Navarre; one of which was occupied today by her husband & youngest daughter.
*I've not been able to follow your comments today because we've been out of town; at church; at friends (and FR was inaccessible), etc. I did get to watch the landfall on the Weather Channel for 2 hours. But quite a bit of time, if seemed to me, was spent with Mike Siedell in Mobile, where not much was happening; and over in Destin on the other side, and in Pensacola (what's that guy's name??)(pretty interesting reporting); but Jim Cantore, the Hurricane Magnet, in the parking lot of A's hospital!! got less coverage.
So, do we have anything more than that "her hospital's roof was flapping in the breeze"; and PLEASE tell me if anyone's heard from Navarre....
Thanks!
Your request for Navarre certainly wasn't rude. I tried to find something out for you but couldn't. I hope you've heard some good news by now.
Bookmarking thread.
This is July 15th. There is no longer anything called Hurricane Dennis.
Can we PLEASE put this thread to rest?????
Can we PLEASE put this thread to rest?????
It was, until you just posted your silly rant. Too much Starbucks caffeine this morning?
Sorry I got your panty hose in such a snit, but I don't recall any silly rant, and I don't drink Starbucks coffee.
I was MERELY pointing out that this thread is a week old, and STILL being listed under the current news sidebar on the right hand side of the web page.
p.s. I am not a sidebar moderator. You are complaining to the wrong party.
Take a Midol
