The National Weather Service reclassified Andrew as a Cat 4 storm several years ago. I read it in the paper, but there were no details.
I think you're right. The people who have been paying attention are going to be looking for this thread, but others always think they're the first to know and insist on posting yet another thread!
Maybe if she puts it in BN now, it will stop the dang dupilcates.
If so, the would be second eye wall is very unconcentric with the inner.
Correction - it was a Cat 4 reclassifed as a 5 a few years ago.
Western outflow seems to have backed off a bit
Hey, that little blue dot in the middle of North Carolina is right over my house. :-)
Hey, you're back! How was the reception?
I have to tear down this computer sometime tomorrow.
I;ll be gone about 2 weeks,.
Yes, typically... I don't think we are seeing ECR at this time.
ERC - bleh.
Yeah, it may be due to interaction with the trough to the west... but, overall.. it doesn't look like it's being affected that much.

PRESSURE DOWN TO 932.

In any case, it was a powerful system.
ha, lots of mistakes here tonight... guess the fact that it's almost 5am has something to do with it.
Thick circular band on Eglin radar outside of primary eyewall, however, not visible on Tallahassee or Ruskin radar, could be beam penetration difficulty.
But... it doesn't show up on Mobile radar, which has less precip to go through.
Hmm
That big red smear south of Jacksonville is right over mine.
Falcons fan, eh? LOL!
