They made it all happen when they stole the 2000 presidential election.

OK, I've seen enough.

The writer suffers from a learning disability. No one cares about leftist BUsh hate drivel anymore. You would have thought that by now even the dumbest of the dumb would have learned that.

A quick search on Margaret Kimberly shows a writer who hates GW and lies about him while pushing the gay agenda.

So is Margaret, a Black Lesbo pseudo Journalist, who does the Jayson Blair thing to trash GW?

“In the heyday of liberal democracy all roads lead to slavery.”

In context says that big government and the welfare state lead to enslavement. Context is conveniently distorted. The demon-crats begin their character assassination. I support Brown!

"That statement is so bizarre that it can only be called insane. If Brown thinks that freedom is slavery she should have added that war is peace. As BC pointed out, Bush-approved blacks are always crazier than their white counterparts."

Oh Margaret ... you're such a hack.

I'm starting to believe Carl Rove is some kind of mass hypnotist ... you've transposed 'liberal democracy' to 'freedom' (and you probably don't even realize it), just to vent your racist $h!t.

Wait'll President Bush nominates her to the Supreme Court!

Are we ever gonna' have fun then!

the woman says nothing that makes sense.

and frankly I'm sick of the very people who want everyone to be "color blind" turning around and making everything all about color....

this author needs to grow up and realize that someone can look like her and not think like her (thank God) and it isn't all about her when they don't think like her and it isn't all about her when they look like her....duh.

The writer begrudges the right of people of color to be free and independent thinkers. The writer's time has come and gone.

If Brown thinks that freedom is slavery she should have added that war is peace.

While I can only imagine that the word 'slavery' is a fear producing word in some communities, more dangerous is the authors inability to understand what Janice Rogers Brown was trying to say. Perhaps she MIGHT be referring to the tendency of liberal policies which sound all soft and fluffy as their intent is so wonderful, but the results are something else. These policies and programs create more dependent people (slaves) who are now depending on milk and honey from the federal government (aka the plantation). Happy to explain that one for you, and if you need anymore help tune in to the Free Republic for more details.

Bush may be inarticulate and suffering from some sort of learning disability...

Bush had a higher GPA in college than the leftist candidate John F-ing Kerry.

Not another Clarence Thomas

I agree completely. I don't want another Clarence Thomas. I want seven more of him. I'll let Scalia keep his seat for now. :-)

“In the heyday of liberal democracy all roads lead to slavery.”

Read the quote in context:

“In the heyday of liberal democracy, all roads lead to slavery,” she has warned in speeches. Society and the courts have turned away from the founders’ emphasis on personal responsibility, she has argued, toward a culture of government regulation and dependency that threatens fundamental freedoms.

“We no longer find slavery abhorrent,” she told the conservative Federalist Society a few years ago. “We embrace it.” She explained in another speech, “If we can invoke no ultimate limits on the power of government, a democracy is inevitably transformed into a kleptocracy - a license to steal, a warrant for oppression.”

You can see how a liberal hack would object to this but even then they have to quote out of context to make any kind of a point. What the lady said is true. Obviously true.

“In the heyday of liberal democracy all roads lead to slavery.”

A truism if ever there was one! How long have liberal/socialist ideology kept Black America on their plantation? The struggle to liberate themselves is more evident than ever and they are spat upon for their successes, called "being too white". Condi Rice, Colen Powell, Justice Thomas, Thomas Sowell, and many others that have taken their well deserved places in America.

Janice Rogers Brown is a credit to her country and to her race; she can read law, interpret its meaning with out resorting to legislating her own views; she truly upholds and believes in the United States Constitution; she has enormous integrity and has proved it many times. Those opposed to her nomination do so for the usual reasons, her high regards to law as written and the United States Constitution - these are simply not those of the Socialists in the country and they are terrified of a person who holds such conservative views and has such a profound love of her country.

Janice Brown is fair in all decisions; to find fault with her is to demean our justice system….and keep the plantation alive.
