Billy Graham's Daughter Arrested for Allegedly Abusing Husband

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Evangelist Billy Graham's daughter was arrested and charged with domestic abuse after witnesses told police she choked her husband in a parking lot, authorities said. Virginia Graham Foreman, 59, spent a night in jail after the July 1 confrontation outside a shopping center, police said. She was charged with misdemeanor domestic abuse and released the following day.

Three witnesses told police that Foreman pushed her husband and grabbed him by the throat, authorities said.

A Volusia County judge who presided over Foreman's first court appearance said Chad Foreman told police that witnesses had "just misunderstood what was going on between them."

No one answered the phone at the couple's home on Friday.

Billy Graham, 86, concluded a three-day revival meeting in New York City last month that he indicated could be his last.

First off, if I'm man enough to start a fight with a man, I'm man enough to finish it. Second, if this particular scenario ever did happen in this house, Xena's Guy would be too embarrassed to file.

Xena's Guy would unable to file until he got out of recovery!

" Enough. Don't throw stones, they sometimes bounce back."

Oh cut the jive. This is simply a discussion. No one is throwing stones. You sound like a Jennifer Wilbanks apologist complete with double standards.

No doubt she will strangle again.

I sure wouldn't let her cook for me anymore.

Gigi for Supreme Court Justice. Here is a lady who has just had it up to here with lord knows what and took action. In the battle of the sexes I chalk this one up for our side. I am not making fun of her because many, if not most, wives who have been married long enough have had the urge to strangle their spouse for one deserved reason or another. It works the other way around too but considering this is a psychologist husband I give her the benefit of the doubt. Imagine being analyzed 24/7 and reasoned out of a dark mood you are entitled to. Sorry she had to spend the nite in jail but that seems to be Florida's way of dealing with major criminals while the child molesters run wild.

Right. If if were anyone else it wouldn't make even a small print back of the page.

Looking at her, she looks ill. I wonder if she has something that explains this. She looks pervasively sad. That pic is a tragic one. I hate it that this is public.

The world would be a much better place if more women followed your lead.

I never really thought about strangling my husband. I don't think I could do it. maybe he will let me try this evening when he gets home.

I more likely have thought about just shooting him. But not lately. Somehow all the lmurderous feelings just fade as one gets older. I settle now for irritating him and eating the very last serving of his grits. I think that makes him want to murder me. But he is a poisoner, I just feel it in my bones.

Why do I feel insane while laughing?

Gigi is NOT the Graham daughter in this story. This one's named Virginia.

Not that I ever heard. But someone posted a picture and bio of another Graham daughter, and they and another poster seemed to believe it was THIS daughter. See post # 36. It is not the same daughter. Different first name, different last names, etc. He has several daughters.

The intuition!

I just look at him and think "would he shoot me?", no, he wouldn't. He might poisons the grits though. He really loves his grits.

The bio says Gigi is married to a psychologist named Steve something or other, a foreign sounding name. This woman is married to a Chad Foreman. It can only be the same daughter IF she is married to a different man than what the posted bio says in # 36.

Didn't you see this part?

GIGI GRAHAM
[Virginia Leftwich (GiGi) Graham Tchividjian]

Virginia is Gigi. She is the eldest of the Graham children. The other daughters are Anne and Ruth. Foreman is probably a new last name.

"Little old ladies aren't what they used to be."

I'm not being nit picky here but 59 yrs old in todays pro physically fit active world isn't considered old like it was before the 1950's. I've met enough people in the new millenium who are over 59 years old that could spin circles around me.
