If we use the tancredo-haters definition of "resign", then George W. Bush "resigned the Presidency" on June 29, 2002, when Cheney became acting President for a few hours while Bush underwent surgery. Perhaps the Tancredo haters should explain the President about his "resignation" when he temporarily stepped aside. He didn't seem to get the memo.

(BTW, I'm STILL waiting for Bayourod to explain why Pat's "sock puppet" endorsed Bush in 2000 and didn't lift a FINGER to help Pat's presidential campaign. They were hoping and praying his open-borders socialist RAT opponent took out Tancredo or Kerry would win Tancredo's district to prove their goofy theory about how much Tancredo was "undermining" Bush.

Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.) said yesterday that it "may be a productive move" for House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Tex.) to step aside while charges against him are investigated, but added that he believes the accusations are "trumped-up charges" by Democrats.
Tancredo issued the statement after the Denver Post quoted him as saying that although he does not favor ousting DeLay, "If he chose to resign as majority leader until these matters are resolved, that's probably not the worst idea."
