Furthermore, with Bay as his apparent campaign manager there can be no doubt that Tancredo is not going to be a serious candidate. Like Pat Buchanan, he'll just be using the free publicity and federal matching funds to build a mailing list of suckers from whom he can solicit money afyter the election is over. Running for President can be very profitable if you aren't trying to ewin.

If you were serious Tancredo you would say that you want to accomplish "this" goal, not just "any" goal. If you were serious Tancredo, you would approach this thing "seriously", not just "as if" you are serious.
Hillary would love to see a half-ass run by Tancredo. Tancredo's campaign could do the most damage to this country if he loses the Republican primary and then runs as an independent -- never actually winning, instead just splitting the vote.
