Yvonne Nash does not know if her partner has been killed Friends and relatives of people missing since the London bomb attacks have started the hunt for their loved ones. The Scotland Yard casualty hotline on 0870 156 6344 has already received over 100,000 calls and police are trying to work out how many people are missing.
Yvonne Nash, 30, says she fears partner Jamie Gordon was killed by a bomb which destroyed a bus in Tavistock Square.
"We are just trying to keep going. Is he dead? Is he alive? Not knowing is dreadful," she said.
Mr Gordon has not been heard from since calling his work to say he was on a bus between Euston and King's Cross.
Friends have been searching for Anthony Fatayi-Williams since Thursday
Meanwhile, friends of Anthony Fatayi-Williams have been searching hospitals since he disappeared on his way to work in central London.
He is thought to have tried to make his way to King's Cross, via Euston, by bus after delays on the Northern Line prevented him getting to his work near Liverpool Street station.
His best friend Amrit Walia said Mr Fatayi-Williams had tried to call his mobile at 0839 BST, but he had missed the call.
"He has not contacted a single one of his friends since yesterday morning and his mobile phone is constantly on voicemail," Amrit said.
"He is usually very conscientious and would have called if only to check everyone else was OK."
Unreturned texts
Mr Walia said he and another of Anthony's friends had driven round London to check the casualty lists of 10 hospitals, but with no luck.
He said: "We understand the police have a job to, but it is agonising to sit and wait, which is all they have advised us to do."

Ms Nash said her partner had not returned any calls or texts since calling from his bus journey.
Ms Nash said City worker Mr Gordon, 30, would not normally have taken that route into work from their home in Enfield, north London, but had stayed at a friend's house on Wednesday night.
He had called his firm, City Assets Management, at 0942 BST on Thursday to say he was on a bus.
Five minutes later, the number 30 bus travelling from Hackney to Marble Arch was blown apart by the fourth of Thursday's bombs.
The roof of the bus was torn off and nearby cars were also damaged. Thirteen people have been confirmed dead.
"The worst case scenario is that he is dead," said Ms Nash. "We just have to find him."
"If he is hurt and on his own in hospital, we need to be with him," she added.
Hospital calls
"It is shocking to think he has been through something that traumatic and we cannot be with him."
She said she had given his details to the police casualty bureau and had spent all night calling hospitals without success.
Ms Nash said she was desperate for news and was so worried she could not sleep or eat.
"I just have to find him. I have to know what happened."
Home Secretary Charles Clarke said people were desperately trying to help.
"I am very sorry indeed for the situation Yvonne Nash is experiencing," he said.

I believe that one of the officials stated that--at one location--he was surrounded by body parts.
That's a horrible concept, I know; but I imagine that there will be a number of people whose remains will have to be ID'd by DNA.
Rest assured that the scam artists will invent fake relatives here just as they did on 9/11.
