July 8, 2005: The Islamic terrorism in the south has resulted in some two thousand casualties (nearly 800 dead) in the south so far this year. That's nearly a dozen casualties a day. Because most of the violence has been directed at government employees, especially teachers, there has been an exodus of teachers from the school system. Over a thousands teachers, most of the them Buddhists, have asked for transfers to jobs elsewhere in Thailand. How anyone can say that these "people" are not oppressive, murderous radicals is beyond me. They have an agenda and they are carrying it out using fear and terror to overthrow decent peoples. Their plan elsewhere is no different.
Wake up world -- they must be stopped.

Thailand is not. The southern 3 provinces of Thailand are. The rest of the country does not suffer problems because of the muslims in the south. They are smart enough not to move their 'struggle' out of the south because they know how much force would be brought down on them if they started attacks in Bangkok.
