Dateline 2005: America continues to import it's own demise via a violent illegal alien revolution by refusing to enforce immigration laws.

=========================================

This presents an emerging national-security problem, especially if terrorist groups such as al Qaeda target MS-13 to help imbed its members in "cities of sanctuary." Eventually, terrorists will realize they can come to these communities to plan their next attack with relative safety.

We are our own worst enemy.
-------
Isn't it more accurate to say our governments, state and federal, might be our worst enemy? Who is letting them it? Who is not enforcing our borders? Who is deliberately passing more FREE TRADE AGREEMENTS (CAFTA) which will loosen our borders even more? WHO, WHO, WHO? Let's call a spade, a spade. Why is it we do not hear A SINGLE SOLITARY WORD FROM OUR "LEADERSHIP" in Washington?? Who is gagging the entire Congress (excepting Tancredo of course)?

Does this mean we can start bombing SanFransisco?

That would certainly clean up several messes at once! :)

This will be the next big issue for the 2008 election. This has to be solved. We will make some reforms before then, but they will be largely cosmetic. It will take a major push to make the change.

Our biggest problem is trying to take the issue out of the realm of "racism". Buchannan tried to push this issue in 1998, but was painted as a racist. We have to treat it as a national security issue, but critics will use the race angle for leverage.

I think the best approach is to target the border populations that face the problems with illegal immigration (TX, NM, AS, & CA) and get them (Congressmen, Senators, & state legislators) to raise the issue as a national security issue. There is some recent effort to do this already in CA.

Thanks for the ping.

Porter Goss couldn't have been clearer in his assessment that terrorists would likely try to smuggle a nuclear device or dirty bomb across the border. When theres big money involved...MS-13 will gladly hookup with Middle East based well financed operatives.

Smuggling of both men and materials is possible due to the large unsecured areas and the large influx of people. They can hide materials in plain site, and setup their smuggling infrastructure using illegals as a backbone.

The situation will be even more critical once Iran gets full nuclear capabilities...at that point it will be more than just a dirty bomb.

You cant spin it any more...act and act now.

It's just hard to comprehend how ANYONE could turn a blind eye to such a dangerous situation. ANYONE who would allow a situation to exist knowing that it could result in the deaths of so many Americans is worse than ANY of those terrorists!

NM has a law that states that ANYONE who fails to act to prevent a person's death or harm, can be arrested for contributory negligence simply for their inaction. It seems to me that our congresscritters who have failed to protect us should be brought up on charges.

Eventually? My guess is they figured it out long ago.

Growing up in Jersey in the 50's just a short city bus ride from NYC was a melting pot experiance. I recall one time in particular. Living there was an experiance, people were from all over. One member of our little neighborhood gang was from Central America. He showed up one day at our hangout with his newly arrived cousin. Beginning with all the swear words popular with young boys, we slowly helped him in learning English. His cousin, already knowing english, was a big help with this. Soon enough he had melted right in. Welcome to America......What the HELL happened to the country since then?

Officials Traitors in San Diego, Houston, Los Angeles and Minneapolis have implemented policies restricting coordination with federal authorities. Most recently, the governor Dictator of Maine announced an executive order that prohibits the state from enforcing federal immigration laws.

MS 13 is basically a terrorist organization all by itself. They just don't run planes into buildings.

As for 2006 and beyond, I will vote for a politician that has a plan to shore up the borders. I don't care if he's a "D," an "R," an "L," an "S," a "MF," or an "SOB." If no one distinguishes himself in that regard, no one gets my vote. We must get this border closed if we are to continue as a sovereign country.
