Also, don't get caught up in "Traditional is bad" or "anyone that doesn't do it our way is not welcome any longer". Unfortunately, this is the newest method (or fad).

Rick Warren writes in "The Purpose Driven Church" that the old-timers who want to hold on to Traditional music are idolators. So aren't those who only want contemporary music also idolators? Why isn't that true for both factions? Unfortunately, many new Christians aren't taught the difference in actual worship from music ("Praise & Worship").

excellent point, and one that I should have made above. Thanks for covering for me. :^)

A person in an old primitive baptist church singing an old hymn from civil war days may be worshipping as purely as someone in the most modern Charismatic church known for it's praise and worship. (or even more purely for that matter)

Since worship is a matter of the heart it doesn't matter where or when or how you worship it only matters that your heart is intent on glorifying God and basking in His presence.
