His approach (in my words, not a direct quote) is: don't get wobbly, destroy the bastards, don't pay attention to the shrieks of the multiculturists appeasers, drain the swamp of the Mideast dysfunction that spills its anguish onto the world.

Yes, sometimes he is less optimistic that we (the West in general, not the people of the FR type) can master the will to win

We have to stop putting up with the Islamists - ok, Islama-whackos - preaching hatred and fascism in our midst

Which means do what?

and ignore their claim of victim status.

And do what?

We have to be a lot less finicky on the military side too, and just go after those we see as sponsoring terrorism, and eschew the UN-dance steps.

And attack whom?
