CCTV footage may help track bombers

You don't need " the British capital's ubiquitous closed-circuit TV cameras ". In fact, it would be counter-productive, it would be exactly what the Muslim Terrorists want. They want the U.K. to try and find the 4 or 5 individuals who actually carried the bombs to their destinations, and concentrate the payback on those few people.

What should be done is to concentrate the payback on, not the individuals but the COUNTRIES THAT SPONSOR TERRORIST!

I've done it, still no 'clear' picture of a plane going into the building. Look, I'm not saying a plane didn't go into the Pentagon, I stress that surrounding the U.S defense headquarters there are probably hundreds of cams. Where is the footage, even one more angle?

I was looking for a picture for you but you are right. There is no picture of the plane before it impacts. The best I could find is an obstructed view of something rapidly approaching the Pent. And a debris field with aircraft parts laying around the Pent. Definetly not conclusive! There may be a cover up here. I'm blaming the evil Karl Rove! I'm stocking up on tinfoil and hiding in my Mommy's basement until things get better. :0)

Not to mention the people on the jet whose families would be grateful to find out where they are if their plane didn't hit the pentagon.

The fact of the matter is, most of the camera s that would have caught the plane coming in were destroyed. their are several eye witnesses to the plane coming in and strinking the pentogon, but I suppose those guys were lying too huh?

One other piece of evidence, outside of all the debris that is consistent with a 757-200, is that the black boxes were recovered from the wreckage, conclusively proving that this was indeed the self same plane that was reported to have crashed into the pentagon on 9/11.

Any idiot that thinks the plane didn't hit the pentagon should seriously think about joining the democrat party and having themselves checked into a mental health facility.

The first "reports" I heard on radio/TV was that a helicopter had crashed at the Pentagon's heli-port. I didn't hear anything about an Airplane flying into a buildling. And being just AFTER most people saw on TV the second airplane flying into the second tower, I would think that if anyone saw an airplace crash into the Pentagon, they would have been interviewed. But I don't recall any such interview. Where there any live interviews with witnesses, immediately after?

Have you ever considered that because it is the Pentagon, some of this footage could be "classified"? If the loop showing the plane going into the Pentagon is not "clear" enough for you, then I am sorry. I can't help you. I'm actually surprised they released these frames.

To think the Pentagon isn't surrounded by cameras is absurd. My local Cigarette Depot has a camera, my barely computer literate parents have a camera. You're right, the loop isn't enough for me, but I appreciate the html.

I spent five years working in the Pentagon, few cameras "visible", more not so visible. You ever see the size of the Pentagon? All cameras not pointed right at the point of impact...

Plus for the other poster, the plane crashed in to wedge of the Pentagon where the heli-pad is located outside....

There were. I personally know a person who witnessed the aircraft heading for the Pentagon.

He was so shaken by the experience that he sold his DC home and moved to a remote farm with his family.

There were plenty of other witnesses.

9/11 conspiracy theorists disgust me.
