Excellent.
I'm also curious about the bomb on the bus. Since the others were all on trains, I'm wondering if that was supposed to be on a train as well, but for some reason the perp was delayed, or redirected, or some such.

IIRC The bus had been redirected after the first explosion. Perhaps the terrorist went to plan B.

I thought that at first too. But someone on TV suggested today that it was probably planned that way. That they counted on people fleeing the subways and jumping on buses, so they hit a bus too, to increase the "terror."

Maybe he was just delayed and didn't get to make his scheduled "delivery". I just hope the bastard got sent to hell when it went off.

From earlier explanations, the buses were packed because the tube had been shut down. It went off nearly an hour after the first blast, and half an hour after the previous blast.

Good thoughts, but I can't help but to think that the bus bombing was an aberration. It was the very last one to go off, and a while after all the other ones, and it was alone as far as buses were concerned. My thought is that for whatever reason, that terrorist was late to the train bombing party. By the time he was out and enroute, the town was like a kicked over anthill from the other blasts, with a chance of success of bombing any more trains severely remote to non-existent. I think "Abdul" lost his nerve, but not wanting to be a total failure in the eyes of his compatriots, went ahead and did his thing, whether it be going out in a blaze of suicidal "glory", or setting a timer and fleeing to save his sorry a$$.
