Nuking terrorists would mean Iran, etc, not your next door neighbor.
In WWII this would have prompted a round-up of ALL Muslim men and begin a process of interviews and verification of their status.
It may also have prompted an interment and/or repatriation of Muslims with their country of origin.
There would also have been widespread requests for all citizens to begin watching theior neighbors and report any suspicious activity.
These attacks mandate that all Muslims be closely watched by all non-Muslim citizens.

I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not, but I wouldn't ship out all muslims. I would, however, ship out all non-citizens from certain muslim countries. Can you imagine if during WW2 we just randomly let Germans and Japanese enter the country?

I agree a backlash is unlikely. However, I would submit that going outside, ululating, passing out candies, and doing the jumping up and down victory dance, with or without AK-47s would be a very bad idear.

They're too busy e-mailing discrimination complaint forms to their members -- which was their first reaction on 9/11.
It's more important to keep a record of all those hate crimes (such as someone frowning at one of them in the supermarket) then to worry about the torn and broken bodies and the shattered lives left behind by their co-religionists in London.
