British Muslims were issued with a stark warning to stay indoors today, amid fears of reprisals following the London bombings.
Massoud Shadjareh, chairman of the Islamic Human Rights Commission, appealed for calm and condemned the bombings.
He said: “The Islamic Human Rights Commission utterly condemns this attack, but now we appeal that there should be no further victims as a result of reprisals.”
There was no immediate confirmation of who was responsible for the attacks, but a claim was made on the Al-Qal’ah – Fortress – internet site, by a group calling themselves the Secret Organisation Group of Al-Qa’ida of Jihad Organisation in Europe.
Mr Shadjareh said some members of the Muslim community suffered a backlash following the September 11 2001 terror attacks in the United States, and the Madrid train bombing in March 2004.
He said he was “very concerned about a backlash” and called on British Muslims to “remain vigilant and calm and stay indoors”.
He said: “IHRC is advising Muslims not to travel or go out unless necessary, and is particularly concerned that women should not go out alone in this climate.
“In the event of being attacked, IHRC urges victims not to retaliate and to report the matter to the police and appropriate authorities.”

The ideaology is the same. Only Islam claims 'religious' status and protection. The Nazi's weren't that smart, they were admittedly political.

Getting back to the hellholes they came from would be a step in the right direction....but they exploit the PC secular accommodations that are undermining not only the UK but all western nations.

There is hope for Britain in the fact that Muslims are afraid. If they weren't, Britain would be lost.
However, unlike Muslims, most civilized societies do not target women and children. As Muslims hide behind the weak when they attack, I can understand his confusion.
When I was in college, I volunteered for a while on an ambulance, including the weeks after 9/11. One day, as we were driving around the town I grew up in, we saw a guy attack a Sikh who walked by. We stopped and intervened.
There were a lot of attacks on Sikhs, Indians, and Arabs in the weeks following 9/11.
Anyone who attacks Muslims in an attempt to deal retribution for terrorism is a terrorist himself, and should be indicted under the terrorism and bias crime statutes.

In fact the Brits let them celebrate 9/11 in the streets of London with slogans like "LONG LIVE OSAMA BIN LADEN!"

The equal tragedy is that Islam is being played as a fool on world stage.Does anyone of any religion really think a gift to Allah is smoking ruble and dead civilians?This is being directed at higher levels by those with no respect for Any religion.The fear is that the world figures out what any sap can and which country benefits.Now I see oil per barrel has dropped $4.US.Curious. Political leaders in Europe have made it clear that the Muslims are welcome. The Muslims have made it clear that one way or another they intend to take over. If the citizens don't deal with this threat themselves, then they have no chance.
The same is true here, though we're further away from it than Europe is.
But I'm sure that in the end calmer heads - such as yours, LOL - will prevail and Europeans will thoroughly enjoy the benefits of living under sharia.
This is my thought also, but I am willing to consider other views as there are many who know more than I do.
