For Immediate Release Office of the Press Secretary Contact: 202-282-8010 July 7, 2005
We have been closely monitoring the bombings in London. Our sympathies and condolences go to the victims of this incident and the people of London.
We have been in direct communication with officials at the state and local level and with public and private sector transportation officials. We have asked them for increased vigilance and additional security measures for major transit systems.
The Department of Homeland Security has stood up the Interagency Incident Management Group to ensure full situational awareness around this incident and in the United States. We do not have any specific intelligence indicating this type of attack is planned in the United States, but we are constantly evaluating both intelligence and our protective measures and will take whatever actions are necessary.
We will continue to work closely with British officials as they investigate this incident.
What is necessary is an immediate sealing of the borders, roundup of illegals for deportation, and an end to political correctness and pandering to the hispanic and arab electorates for votes at teh expense of our security. NOW !!! DO IT F#$%ING NOW !!!!
This is not an ideology or even a perverted faith," he continued. "This is just an attempt to kill innocent people.
And Mr Livingstone then addressed the terrorists directly, saying they would never beat the resolve of the British people.
"Ours is the greatest city in the world and we will not be divided by your cowardly attacks.
"I know you fear you may fail in your long-term objectives. In the coming weeks look at our airports, seaports and railway stations.
"People come to live in London so they can live the life they choose.
"They flee you because you tell them how to live and no matter how many people you kill, you will fail."
I'm not sure what the hispanics have to do with the bombings in London or the security of the United States.
You may have a valid point about the need to close the borders, but I don't think the bombings in London help you make it.
Shalom.
The Metropolitan Police advise people to stay where they are.
Do not call the emergency services except in life-threatening situations.
An emergency hotline number is expected shortly.
All London hospitals are closed to non-emergency cases.
Emergency service calls are being given priority on mobile phone networks.
The only reason the borders are not closed is the fear of alientating the hispanic voting bloc. That's what I meant. They have NOTHING to do with any terror acts, but as long as we fail to act in spite of their lobbying, we cannot be secure.
I'm so amazed that the Networks are covering this. Usually they'll do anything they can to avoid reporting terrorism.
It is somewhat surprising. Maybe it's good to think of them giving us one kind of message and then sending the terrorists an entirely different message.
Seeing as our capitalist economy and your 401K depend on the utilization of cheap ChiCom and Illegal Alien Labor in order to fatten that bottom line, the finger points both ways, my friend.
Political correctness aside, how much do you think oranges and suburban tract houses would cost if those in charge actually employed legal residents of the U.S.?
I'm not sure what the hispanics have to do with the bombings in London or the security of the United States.
Jose Padia ring a bell?
Chertoff is Just Another Bureaucrat mouthing platitudes
designed to divert us. To quote< (and paraphrase): "This
is not a time for undue anxiety....this is a time to stand alongside London in its grief...." blahblahblah.\
This is still the same therapeutic ritualizing of tragedy
that we wallowed in for way too long post 9-11.
Nothing is going to change in the West unless we stop MONITORING Muslims, and start DEPORTING them back to their countries of origin, if they have show ANY sympathy or aid to those who have committed violence against us. But to do that NOW would be like admitting that we should have done it earlier----no, we'll wait until what happened in London happens here, and we STILL won't do what is necessary, which is to RID THE COUNTRY OF MUSLIMS! Britain has been even flabbier in response to its strident radical Muslim population that we have been here---at least here we have someone like B O'R who empowers himself to get on Sami Al-Arian's case, for example. I think there's no such person in the British media---their cultural trait of "reserve" is going to be what undoes them.

Terrorists can use the criminal infrastructure built up for illegal Hispanic immigration -- the smugglers of illegals, the providers of false documents, the political support structure to protect illegals.
I understand that but it is a price we must pay. MUST!
Oh, I agree. But too many Americans don't see the link between open borders and their pocketbooks and 401Ks.
I understand your point, but the way you posted it smacked of xenophobia.
We have to remember also that England doesn't have any land borders and they still got bombed.
I don't think the bombings in London speak at all to our border issue. It's an issue, but that doesn't speak to it.
Shalom.
