Leftists are children. They are self-centric like 5-year-olds and think that all they have to do is behave a certain way, and the adults around them will cowtow. When that doesn't happen, they throw tantrums and plot rudimentary revenge. They are willing to lay themselves on the line to obtain the nanny state. Just like children want their mommies.
Leftists also act as if everything is just a little game of one upmanship, rather than real life. No matter how serious the situation.
