Jenna Bush a hit in Europe
The Washington Times ^ | 7 July 2005 | Stephanie Mansfield

In a nod to the Live 8 rock benefit generation, maybe to meet U2 frontman Bono or perhaps just because she is on summer vacation, first daughter Jenna Bush is accompanying her parents to the Group of Eight summit in Scotland and is wowing the Europeans.

"The girls are not there to do anything official," a White House spokesman said yesterday, speaking of Jenna and Barbara Bush, 23, who will join first lady Laura Bush on an educational trip to Africa later this week. Nevertheless, the blond first daughter, who has become the object of fascination among the VIPs, was unofficially a hit.

Great pics! I'm definitely a Barbara fan. She reminds me of Nicole Kiddman.

"Sorry, fellahs. There was no photo."

I saw the First Family on the news last night and while Jenna looked great she also looked like she was going to fall over in those heels.

Consider it a page of the unattainable vs. attainable... or rather, "this is what you want your wife/girlfriend to look like" and then you hit the reality of Helen, what your wife/girlfriend actually looks like. ;-)

Good on ya!!

Yes, "fanny" in Australia does have somewhat of a different meaning. Have you worked it out yet?

Those boobs don't look real either. It looks like Chelsea has had a boob job to go along with facial makeover.

"Actually found a pic of the Thune family. I'm trying to figure out the girls' genetic makeup. Neither mom or dad are redheads..."

If both parents have the non-dominant redhead gene, it can become dominant in their offspring. A 25% or 50% chance. I forgot the genetics. There are 4 ways genes can go...

None here. It goes like this:

I would bring Barbara for a weekend to the Belaggio,
Jenna for a weekend to the Luxor,
And Chelsea for 4 hours to the Ramada Inn:):):):)

If both parents carry a single recessive gene, then each child has a 25% chance of getting two recessive genes, and a 50% chance of one dominant and one recessive.

And a 25% chance of getting 2 dominant genes. Now I remember after 35 years. I just drew the relationship out too! 2^2=4 way action. John Thune better explain dating to his red head girls soon. He could have problems:)

Barbara is a lovely young lady. Jenna is a sexy girl -- would be a real knockout if she lost weight, but still just a girl for now.

but the day I let political issues prevent me from recognizing a hot chick when I see one is the day I lose interest in politics.

Do you have any idea how much plastic surgery Chelsea Clinton has had? Do you know that she had plastic chin and cheek implants added to her face? Have you ever seen "The Swan"?

Jenna is sexy and has the right curves, but Barbara is elegant and will surpass her sister in sexiness within a few years.

Agreed. Jenna is hot. However, I believe that Barbara has already surpassed Jenna on the sexiness scale:

Human genetics is a bit more complicated than that. There's not a single gene that determines hair color, but several. There's still some controversy over exactly which genes control what, but in a nutshell: hair color on the scale from pale blonde to dark black is controlled by one set of genes, and another gene controls the production of pigment that turns hair red. The latter gene is dominant, but if the former genes result in dark hair, the red hair pigment is overwhelmed. So if a child is born to parents that would otherwise have fair hair but receives a gene from either parent for red hair pigment, he will have red hair. Reference here. This is why red hair tends to run in families, like mine, and also why it's not uncommon for nonredheaded parents to produce redheaded offspring, especially if one of them has fair hair, as Kimberley Thune does.

... now compare that to Hillary the Cankle Queen and her cloven-hoofed offspring. UGH... Please, no photos.

In fact, I probably owe you all an apology for mentioning it.
