Just received the following message from FReeper Tahiti's wife:
Hello,I do not know if I am contacting the appropriate person. However, I wanted to let the people at Freerepublic.com know that my husband, Jack Glennon, was killed in an accident on July 3, 2005.
Jack spent many hours of his time daily/weekly at your website and I know he posted often. I just wanted to let you know of his tragic passing.
He was a dynamic, wonderful man and a loving and devoted father. Freerepublic was such a big part of his life that I felt I needed to let someone know who might be able to post this information.
His obituary can be found in the St. Louis Post Dispatch in the Tuesday and Wednesday editions (which I know is a liberal paper - he reminded me often!).
Thank you.
Sherry Glennon
Prayers to Jack and all of his loved ones.
My condolences on your loss, Mrs. Glennon. We'll miss him.
I am so sorry to hear of his passing; thank you so much for taking the time to tell us of this tragedy.
To Jack's wife: you were loved by this man - you are loved by the God Who made him still. May you and your family feel the arms of God about you tonight, and for all the nights to come...
Please accept my heartfelt condolences in your time of loss. My prayers are with you.
"He was a wonderful man and a loving and devoted father"
That pretty much sums it up. The world is always a better place because of such men.
God bless you and your loved ones.
Sherry and family,
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
