We had a helluva windstorm and rainstorm last night. When that happens, we get mud falling from the sky! Out here, windstorms whip a lot of dust into the air (it is a semi-arid area and the farm fields have een harvested). We had gusts near 50mph. Sometimes, our dust storms have winds up tp 70mph.

You have that right! And we WILL win--our soldiers don't give up and they, not the media and detractors, are the ones on the front lines making it happen! God love them!
...around the world--keeping us safe!

Went to your profile page....no wonder you talk about sandstorms. You live 120 miles north of me--and I visit there quite often! How neat--but I have lived up there, too, when I was a kid and had the worst allergies in my life because of the cotton being ginned!

Gin dust is nasty, nasty stuff. It is worse for your lungs than cigarette smoke. 120 miles south of here; that would be the Midland-Odessa area. I lived in midland for a year while working as an intern at the CAF.

Thanks Star, and Luv...No need. I enjoy doing it, and most of all, appreciate what our military is doing for us. They have to know we care and think about them.
When I have time, I've been working on some new backgrounds. See how they work out.
