Join us this weekend at tracks in the heartland of America.
God bless our troops and families and nation.
Keep your spirit up, young warriors, and Godspeed.
Wondered when the lawsuits would start.
Have personalities ever been sued for promoting unsafe products?
It's been opined that Roush and McMurray went ahead with this deal hoping that Ganassi would decide to let Jamie out of his contract at the end of this season.
Otherwise, it makes no sense to do this so far ahead of time and leave two lame duck drivers in their rides.
ST. LOUIS (July 11, 2005) Budweiser has teamed up with FX to salute the U.S. military with a special showing of Men of Honor starring Robert DeNiro and Cuba Gooding Jr. at 8 p.m. EDT on July 14. FX will complement the film with five documentary-style short videos featuring highlights of the Heres to the Heroes Tour 2005, Budweisers 21-city national tour that honored our nations military by allowing the American public to record video messages of support for U.S. troops around the world.

The Tours mobile exhibit contained a display chronicling Anheuser-Buschs 150-year history of support for the military, along with a video recording studio that allowed visitors to tape customized messages to U.S. troops serving overseas. The messages will air throughout the summer on American Forces Radio and Television Service (AFRTS) at U.S. military outposts in more than 177 countries worldwide and on the Pentagon Channel, which reaches 150 military bases in the United States. Select videos also appear on Budweiser.com.
Update:
Owners spat over McMurray, Roush for sale?: Car owners Felix Sabates [#39,#40,#41,#42] and Jack Roush [#6,#16,#17,#97,#99] had a brief spat in the garage after Sundays race. At issue was Roushs signing of Jamie McMurray to drive for him, beginning in 2007. Roush signed McMurray this week. McMurrays team, owned by Chip Ganassi and Sabates, has a one-year option on McMurray for next season and is expected to exercise that. After the race, Sabates saw Roush and commented about the move. I just said it was a great, great move hiring Jamie, so hell have a stable of great drivers, so when he sells the company, hell get a bunch of money, Sabates said. Hes been trying to sell it. Roush responded to Sabates: Im not for sale, pal. Roush walked away from Sabates soon after that comment.(News and Record)(7-12-2005)

Never heard of one being sued. Always wondered about this one anyway.
