Thanks for the pix. I tried to get FR up on my rig yesterday, and the computer couldn't find the server. My buddy here in Atlanta also could not get it to pull up. Glad it's up today.

I so glad you are here. I had all of today to think this over and I have got it figured out. The reason there are 42 teams ahead of us is because they consistently get more points...You might be onto something here, tubebender. Fierce, Norm... thoughts?

The reason there are 42 teams ahead of us is because they consistently get more points... TB, that's pretty contraceptive of you to come up with that logic.

What happened to spot #40?
How many cars crashed because of tires? I missed the first 35 laps and all the laps after Opie crashed. My wife committed me to the mental ward because I didn't have the FReeper support group to tie my straight jacket...

All--wow, what a turn of the screwed season for two big favorites...Jeff and Jr...both big name racers are 15th and 13th respectively and are out of the top ten...
Seven DNF's for each of them aren't helping...I am about to become ready to start thinking about getting distraught about this...
Ungghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

I was very distraught about Jr's year until yesterday. All you need is a win GRRRRR and it will feel much better. I think Jeff has some good race tracks coming up.
I am willing to bet that 24 team is having a BIG meeting this morning in North Carolina.

And of all days no FR. :( Wheels and I were on the Yahoo league board but there's no place like home (here)
On a more serious note this next sentence comes from someone very close to a Nascar team
On a more serious note: when will the heat get turned up on Goodyear? Will it take a driver being injured more seriously than Tony Stewart was on Friday?

I didn't watch much of the race after the tire problems started to show up. How many cautions were there?

Hey Norm.
Ok, last week was the starting green/yellow flag.
Then yesterday, it was mandatory yellow at 25 laps?
That was the only one, right? Mandatory yellow? Where did this come from? Has this happened before in Nascar?
To: WestCoastGal
GREAT PIX!
WHEW! It's about time!!!!

What happened to spot #40? There is a tie for 39th.
How many cars crashed because of tires?
Enough for me to repeat...

Observation: This is the first week in awhile that Jr. hasn't said something stupid, yet. Watch him do well now.

Usually, when NASCAR throws a mandatory yellow, it is a result of the pre-race practices being rained out. This is the first time I recall NASCAR throwing out the yellow for a potentially-bad tire (despite concerns all year about tires).
There were a heap of yellows yesterday; 10 total, with 9 of them for either crashes or debris on the racetrack.
