Please keep Vicki in your prayers and thoughts today.
If the Government randomly denies her need for benefits; (benefits she has already been receiving) she will be forced to leave her apartment and will be sent to live in a nursing home.

May I remind you, Vicki is in her early 30's, is intelligent, very gifted, and most importantly enjoys her life and independence living in her own residence, like we all do.

If not for her Cerebral Palsy, and her need to have help with her ADL's and transferring,
she would not be in need of caregivers in the course of her day. Just because she is disabled, she should not suddenly be neglected or denied this help.

As you have heard me say many times before during Terri's fight......
If we can pay for our leaders to travel and help those in foreign lands, we BEST be capable of helping and paying attention to the people here on American soil as well.
Sincere desire to help others begins at your own door.
