Actually, that was her second major domestic initiative. Her first failure was reforming Arkansas education, a task her husband gave her when he was Governor. She has literally failed at every major project she has undertaken. Yet, she may become President. Go figure.

supposedly, NYers "didn't want" 600 million to be spent on the west side stadium. but 350 million for new stadiums in the Bronx and Flushing - and NYers apparently want that? that's going through without even a peep.
in NYC, its the media spin on any issue that seems to determine "public opinion". so we will spend 350 million in Flushing and the Bronx to build two stadiums that people will flee from as soon as the games are over, that will bring no economic development to those areas - while continuing to live with an huge open pit with a train yard in it on the west side of Manhattan.
This is a double pleasure. Both the French poodles and the New York fascists lost. It doesn't get much better than that!
This failure is just prime for the pump . I can't think of any substsantive bill she has sponsered , all ceremonial stuff . Get used to failure Hellary , for the pump has been primed for you today .

It's all bread and circuses to my mind. I was really hoping Paris would get the games. They deserve them.

Why in the world would anyone seeking the have NYC chosen as the Olympic site remind the committee that NYC is the city where human carnage took place recently and is a city with a bullseye still painted on it. Just the location where every nation would want to send their athletes.........NOT!!!
Either she is very stupid or it was intentional and somehow will use NYC's rejection as a propoganda piece against George Bush for having created an atmosphere of fear!

She coulda learned a thing or two from Billy Payne - the master of the Atlanta Olympic bid. All the Atlanta government did was make messes for Mr. Payne and his team. NY did not have a Billy Payne to shut down The Beast.

I suspect that those very contacts gained when her husband was president should be investigated. Their contacts with the Chinese was nothing advantageous for our country. That she thought she could rely on them now is not good news for us.
If NYC had gotten the Olympics, Hillary would have been on the Today Show talking about it. Cancel that appointment.
