see post 64 - we are spending 350 million on city programs for stadiums in the Bronx and Flushing - and what are we getting out of it? is that area of the Bronx going to become some new economic development zone? no, you know as well as I do that is going to remain a place where people come for the game - then get away from there as fast as they can when its over. same with Shea.
It's all bread and circuses to my mind. I was really hoping Paris would get the games. They deserve them.
