Technically, the sergeant explained, nudity can be considered misdemeanor indecent exposure if the person in their birthday suit has an intention to titillate.Because the protest is political, not sensual or lewd, it really doesn't count, he said. And having a photo of a topless 9-year old girl on your computer -- could get you in BIG trouble. Maybe Breasts Not Bombs might consider dropping the act of involving children -- they might get more COVERAGE (no pun intended).

Dragging the underage kids into this...not a good idea. In addition, it probably undercuts the scant level of support they were getting anyway.
Also, no one will probably care that the men aren't wearing shirts.

"A dozen anti-war activists from Mendocino County took their tops off at high noon in San Francisco's Union Square shopping district Thursday, using what they said was their best weapon to get the public's attention."
A dozen protesters? As in (12) twelve?!!! ROLFLMAO!!!!
"Members of the Breasts Not Bombs contingent, which included seven women, three men and two young girls, said the war in Iraq is indecent, not their nakedness."
Wait a minute, two young girls lifted their shirts? My guess is that they're children of the women there. If so, what's the punishment for encouraging your underage daughter to lift her shirt in public? How perverted. This whole story is perverted. The whole friggin' city is perverted.

Mainstream media loves this kind of story. It gives them a chance to talk about nudity, to show naked bodies with pixelized parts, and best of all it eliminates the sharp pains they get in their heads when they would otherwise have to think to present an analysis of a truly important story.

. . . San Francisco police Sgt. Carl T., who was assigned to keep an eye on the crowd and who really has only a letter for a last name I suppose only someone this odd could survive a job as a cop in a zoo like San Francisco.
