NY Post Page Six ^

JUST ASKING

WHICH newlywed husband of a TV personality dropped her off at an award show, then went on a tour of gay bars in L.A.? What he didn't realize was that the limo driver had to keep a list of every stop — and that when network execs got the limo bill, the list "looked like a Yellow Page ad of gay bars" . . .

WHICH leading man landed his fiancée by giving her a five-year contract for $10 million? Now, she's giving an Oscar-worthy performance acting as if she's really in love with him . . .

WHICH foreign-born sports phenom lies about his age? Though he landed a multimillion-dollar sneaker deal as a 14-year-old, whispers are he's closer to 20.

Nicole Kidman was much less well known than Holmes when she first met Tom Cruise. Unknown in the U.S. Now she is a major film star.

actually in the turn of the century days before no fault, such an accusation was used by wives to gain advantage in divorce proceedings. The concept was that the woman could reclaim her virtue because the husband did not touch women.

It was a negotiating tactic much like the claims of abuse are today.

In my opinion, Nicole Kidman is a "major movie star" in the eyes of the fawning media only. Her movies never make money: she can't open a movie, and I read that the latest Vanity Fair with her on the cover is the worst seller this year.

I agree. When I read it this morning the only one I could think of was Star Jones.

What makes you believe
she doesn't know? I have known
one or two women

who hang with gay guys
because the women enjoy
watching guys hook up,

and joining the scene.
My impression is show biz
folk are mostly bi.

"Megan Mullally is officially off the market. God's gift to gay men married boyfriend Nick Offerman September 27, 2003, in a small ceremony in Los Angeles, witnessed by her "Will & Grace" co-stars Debra Messing, Eric McCormack and Sean Hayes. As Karen Walker would say, "Let's toast the happy couple. I'll get a couple of bottles of champagne. What will the rest of you have?" ...

"...A spiritually focused bookworm type, Mullally identifies as bisexual. "I've never had a full-on relationship with a woman -- just a couple of what I'd term half-assed dalliances. So I haven't explored it to the degree that I'd like to, but I'll tell you, I'm open to it. And I don't have any problem saying that.""

So? That still doesn't change the fact that Holmes isn't a major film star.

Well she had a lead in the new Batman Begins movie. To some, that would qualify as major film star.

These days, everything
is complicated. Michelle
clearly is major,

but is Alicia?!
I don't think we can just trust
Batman films for stars . . .

At the time, Alicia was considered a major star after the movie Clueless.

I didn't say I agree, but to some people, that would make one a major star.
