Simple observation of the world in real life.
Clean people tend to be healthier, more productive, more successful, and happier.
When have you seen a truly filthy, malodorous,squalid CEO.
Considering that the truly squalid tend to live on the street in cardboard boxes, I think the premise needs to be questioned.
