The feigned outrage over Karl Rove's criticism of the liberal response to the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on this country forced me to recall what liberals I encountered were saying in the days immediately after the savage attacks.

Mr. Rove's words are exactly correct. The liberal response to September 11, 2001, was pathetic.

Pathetic is as pathetic does.

Read Margery Eagan's column in today's Boston Herald to bolster Karl Rove's opinion of liberals. A woman from Newton is driving around in a "Moonbatmobile". Item #1? Bush stole the election.

Back when Iran seized our hostages, there was a similar confrontation in my college drafting class. Of course it happened on a day when I had ditched class, but I heard about it later.

A Nigerian guy in the class said that America had it coming. A tiny little Iranian girl (maybe 4'10"), quiet & shy, jumped up and ripped him a new one, verbally of course, then some of the guys in the class had a "discussion" with him out in the parking lot. I don't know if he dropped out of all his classes, but he never came back to that one!

What a laugh. There's a thread running today about a student exchange program and how wonderful it is that these students can meet Americans and will go home to be "good will ambassadors". The leadership of terrorists and anti-Western movements throughout the turd world are those who have been to the west.

The Left thought it was dandy America was attacked and then proceeded to attack America for fighting back. And they've attacked not the terrorists the entire time since but our own government. Pathetic doesn't even begin to describe these people's self-loathing, loathing of their own country and hatred of our President.

Ah, the good old days, when the most popular graffito in NYC - NYC - was "Nuke Iran".
