The bottom line is the FBI does not see that there is anything wrong with what and how the Arubans are conducting this case.

Beth said they will buy a house in Aruba if that is what it takes to find her daughter. She is NOT going to leave without Natalee. If she is thinking that far ahead she is obviously determined to see this through. I don't think the Aruba government wants her to stay there, IMO. That can't make them very happy.

Do you know if Beth and Jug are retired? I've read that Beth is a speech pathologist, but don't know if she was currently working or not. And I've not heard or read about what Jug does/did for a living.

I hope they have the funds to stay indefinitely in Aruba. I'm sure the expense of staying in the Holiday Inn, meals, etc. are really adding up. Hopefully, there are donated funds available to them.

Frankly, I think everyone (other countries and their citizens) already hate America.

Frankly I am not concerned about what or how other countries and their citizens feel about America.

Not only are these media talking heads misconsturing info to other countries, they are also doing to Americans as well. I don't know about or speak for anyone else, but I expect more than what I have been witnessing from some.

Then I posted to you. Before that, I had said not a word. In my answer, I denied that she was calling for that, and I explained my reasoning.

You can only be abused if you allow yourself to be abused. I have travelled all over the Caribbean and have never been abused. Women, actually everyone, should be responsible for their own safety and use their heads. We don't get to travel with SS or FBI agents taking care of us. If you can't accept that level of responsibility, then stay home.

OH NONSENSE! The main issue was with the Aruban police. These clowns botched the investigation from the beginning, and MANY American detectives and attorneys have clearly stated that. By not detaining the perps and questioning them carefully at the beginning it gave them time to get their stories straight, and to eliminate the forensic evidence. The Arubans have committed a travesty of justice, and deserve all the hell they get out of this.

But maybe some parents will learn from Beth's experience and not think it's a good idea to leave their children in a foreign land to party. Poor judgment isn't a crime but it can make one more likely.

She got a call, or somehow heard a call, originating from a cell phone, apparently during the hours Natalee went missing.

Thank you for that. I have read references to a phone call, but have not been able to pin down what it referred to (not much time to sit and concentrate around my house).

To focus so obsessively on the Kalpoes and the van der Sloots, and with such vituperation, is, I think, extremely counterproductive. I am the first to say I may be wrong, but based on what I've heard and read, I do not think they murdered Natalee, nor know of her ultimate fate.

We have a major difference of opinion. PvdS gave the boys legal advice which included the statement, "Without a body there is no crime." Furthermore, Joran has a bad history and from what I have seen is a psychopath. I only wish I were the judge. GUILTY!
