Mountain Brook High School graduate Natalee Holloway went missing May 30 during a senior trip to Aruba.

"You're assuming that she was lucid. If she was drugged, she may not have even realized she'd been raped at that point or even what the hell was going on. But it's all speculation and I'm beginning to think we'll never know what happened. Sigh.
I thought about that to and my reasoning with myself is that if she wasn't lucid enough to realize that she was drugged, raped, or lucid enough to fight back, I don't believe she would have been lucid enough to make that phone call.
Mr. O'Falafel... Yes, they were.
I believe your scenario is the simplest, most likely one.
Thanks, Teri.
Interesting google search.
Very creative show.
Those who would call her a witch, it seems,
have forgotten some stories of biblical dreams,
of troubled kings and nasty drought,
and Joseph who saved them and figured it out.
Truth is a vision of sensitive thought...
a gift of discernment some prophets have got.
Those who burned witches at Salem's stake,
would've even cursed Jesus, for goodness sake.
15 minutes is a lifetime in a situation such as this.
I have not found anything released except the mention that she was on medication. However, it was said (whether true or not I do not know) that she and a girlfriend had done coke during the week and had used alcohol steadily if not heavily. Ergo, I would bet that her system was significantly stressed. Add on top of all that her own meds (whatever they were), a week of little sleep, the possiblility of roofies, and you have a recipe for trouble.
When I think back to my youth and the way kids became spirited (if not plain wild) on graduation trips, I am surprised that we don't hear of much more trouble from Aruba.
Even good kids occassionally get the feeling that they are immortal and can take a break from their usual "good behavior"...and use some very dangerous drugs (coke and ecstasy, etc. are very dangerous). If there were ever a time for this, it would be on a senior trip to Aruba.
I must be a baby then, I'm only 51, LOL!
Seriously though, I am probably stepping into it with some, but here goes:
I am here to tell all--I may not know what specific actions I would take if in Beth's place, but I do know this: I would move heaven and earth and fight satan himself to find out what happened to my child.
The issue right now is finding out what happened to Natalee, not Natalee's judgement. None of us knows what happened to Natalee that night except that she is probably dead. Bad things happen to good people who do everything right.
For those focusing on what Natalee may or may not have done to put herself in that situation: NEWSFLASH! Kids do stupid things. It is part of their job description. Been there, done that as a child and as a parent.
No matter what a parent does, no matter what a child learns at home, sooner or later a child will do something stupid. I know what is like not knowing what to do first: hug him or kill him.
Anyone saying their kid knows better and would never do anything so stupid (regardless of the topic) is either living in a dreamworld or their kid needs to get a life.
If personal responsibility is the issue, we need to talk about Joran or the brothers. We need to support the Twitty's and the Holloways so that those responsible for the fate of their daughter pay the price for their actions. Natalee has paid the ultimate price and it may be for nothing more than being trusting and naive.
Only after we know what happened, who was responsible and how that night unfolded should we discuss how Natalee found herself in that situation. She may have done everything right.
Focusing on her judgement now, before all facts are known is a veiled way of saying she deserved what happened to her because of her poor judgement.
Whew! rant over.
She teased us with the promo, but she didn't air it."
I suspect that Deepak's lawyer strongly objected to the interview because he is still a suspect. OR he may have violated a gag order of sorts. She should have told her viewers why it wasn't aired.

Amen Gary! NSNR
I disagree.
Nobody has built a clubhouse here but the world of decent people know a sham when they see it. And we can get a pretty good idea of the motivation and intention of others. And we are known to use the community to patrol around here.
And your use of the Bible to try to advance your special opinion, one that tells other people they ought shut up and accept anything that happenes around here, is particularly repellent.
Clear, concise and to the point. Many of us feel the same way, except the one(s) who should be in a straight-jacket.NSNR
It doesn't bug me that she stayed in the car. Probably afraid of what she would do. And letting the men handle it,,,many southern women do that. If things might get hot and angry, women tend to stay in the car.
That is a most excellent observation!
Whoa! I haven't heard anything about her doing coke? Do you know where that came from?
There was a post on Riehl World from a someone who sounded like a kid from MB. Of course, take everything with a grain of salt...but the poster sounded quite mature (but one never knows). Said there was quite a bit of coke around, which is why everyone was keeping such late hours.
I'm trying to catch up...a request for American Marines? Give me a break.
And a Navy special ops team? Is anyone aware that our military is very busy right now?
Or maybe Greta was busy with the attack on London.
Maybe the prescripion med Natalee took, was Allergy medication? ONE drink with that stuff and it packs a punch.
