On Wednesday, authorities searched the van der Sloots' one-story, yellow-beige home, where Joran lived in an attached apartment. Agents were seen carrying two white garbage bags filled with items from the house, while authorities towed away a blue sport utility vehicle and a red Jeep from the property in Noord, outside the capital, Oranjestad.
The Twitty's are desperate and they're hurting badly. The tried being nice and acquiescing to the Aruban authorities and what did it get them?
It got them one botched investigation. One huge wild goose chase. A 10 day reprieve for the three youths who were last seen with Natalee to dispose of evidence, get their stories straight, and get treated to the sage advice of lead obstructionist, PVDS.
I suspected it was somebody high up in the food chain!

I always understood the cars from the VDS to be blue and read. It wasn't until the CNN guy said the other day that there was a white jeep.
The K2 car was grey or silver.

It's a natural reaction (nationalism) especially on a small island that depends on the tourist trade. That said, the reaction to the Twitty's has been building. Honest Arubans understand her pain and if they knew anything, they would have already come forward.
I am GRATEFUL the two black security guards have been proved innocent, and I knew they were innocent all along. Now Aruba cannot make this into a racial thang, just a anti-American thang, and we're used to that.

Obviously they would not lie unless they know why they are doing it. The Twitty's know Joran won't tell the truth and it is possible the brothers will flee before they come clean with what they know.

Lying and obstructing are apparently permitted so long as one does it EFFECTIVELY = i.e. destroys the case. PVDS is one effective man.
There was/are pictures of the vehicles being towed on the net somewhere.
I just saw the last half of that "interview". One of those times I found myself yelling at the tv. And I wasn't through with her when the interview ended!!! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH I thought Juliet(?) did a fantastic job on catching her on the kidnapping statement she made. It was a "Greta moment".
