He is strong. They are weak. He knows what his agenda is, and is principled about his issues. They have no agenda and are inexcusably unprincipled.
I maintain that the "hate Bush" chanting began when his numbers were rocketing into the stratosphere, reflecting the country's admiration and gratitude for the way in which he immediately "took care of business" following 9/11.
These miserable, wretched Democrats, led by a pathetic excuse for a congressman (Daschle), began chipping away at Bush right then and there. They feared that he was just too much loved by the American people, and so they set about destroying his ratings. Unfortunately, it appears that they succeeded.
If the polls are correct, then these politicians on the other side of the aisle have eroded Bush's poll numbers by 40%. On the other hand, the polls may not be accurate, as they are coming mostly from possibly skewed liberal pollsters.
I don't believe that 80% of Americans now want us to just pack up and leave Iraq, leaving inevitable chaos and the same bloodbath as happened when liberals drove us out of Vietnam! The American public isn't that stupid, are they?
