If you're referring to me, I wouldn't say I busted your chops ... and I'm not a true supporter of McKenna's, he is a lib after all. However, he has made a few INITIAL steps in the right direction. Having said that, I DO NOT agree with his rallying Canadians living in the US or taking on FOX.
My beef with you and others in the thread you noted was that McKenna was being misrepresented. He did not say that Americans were hypocritical and selfish, he was referring to R-CALF ... period. He is well connected with many in the US including the Bush family, he is not anti-American and he will not hold back on pulling the trigger with smug Canadians. This and the fact that he has some sand makes him different than your run-of-the-mill Canadian liberal.
Now, will he be successful as the Canadian Ambassador to the US? Time will tell.
