Did you see when he was thanking the military in the beginning and the crowd applauded - the soldier holding the American flag first grinned and looked proud, then it looked like he was blinking back tears.

I saw that. Had to wipe away a tear myself. The President should give this speech more often. I wonder if Pelosi will come on to tell us that he is not allowed to mention 9/11.

I was just going to post that. A smile came on his face when GW said "our troops keep us free!!

I saw that too.I also lost it.Fox did show the whole speech.It was great!

I saw his lower lip and chin begin to quiver when the crowd erupted with their thanks for the troops. Then he did begin to blink back tears. It was a perfect shot of him just behind the President's right ear!
