Agreed and in spades, with but one caveat. We are now prepared for the damned Dems' usual tactics and they are NOT going to work anymore.
I hope we are, with slugs like Spector too afraid to stand up and denounce a demagogue like Kennedy, I feel we must make it perfectly clear that we will not stand for Ted Kennedy pretending he is who classifies who is mainstream and who is not. If any Republican on the Judiciary Committee ever uttered anything even remotely like what Ted Kennedy has in his opposition to Bork, that Republican would be driven out of town at the end of a pitchfork.
I watched the Thomas hearings, and I watched the Ginsburg hearings, I challenge anybody to say the two of them were treated the same, Ginsburg was an ACLU attorney and I expected her to be opposed, or at least not get any republican support. Nope Orin Hatch wanted to play nice. Those days are over, it's now time to take back the Courts from these Activists
