There were times on the plane that I burst out laughing much to the discomfort of others (I was flying alone).
I love when that happens!! Happens to me when I read Wodehouse's "Jeeves" stories. I also commend your choice of "Green Acres." Eb was certainly one of the great fictional creations of TV (and Mr. Kimball was cool, too.)

5) Isaac Asimov (but I could name a dozen)
6) Hercule Poirot
7) The Masks of God, a tetralogy by Joseph Campbell
Then go out to one of the great events that tribute the Fourth of July or better yet go out a volunteer to help with an event that tributes the Fourth of July.

Best Shakespeare Play: "Henry IV: Part I" the scene in the tavern where Falstaff plays up his gifts and talents to Hal is comic genius.
Best Shakespeare Movie: "Henry V" by Kenneth Branaugh. The St. Crispin's Day Speech is reason enough to buy this movie.
Hmm.. I'd forgot The Great Escape. That's a great movie!
